In class Zeitoun
In Dave Eggers book, Kethy has been described as a be loving mother, that would do whatever it takes to keep her family in safe. Besides that Kathy is showing her humanity to care for others that needs as much help as she does. The difference between Kathy and Zeitoun has shown when they split each other to a different direction. Kethy for the safe of her family and Zeitoun for a new adventure of becoming an explorer. In the passage that Kathy called Zeitoun "Please leave," she said " Tomorrow."(Eggers 89). It makes me understand that Kathy has find out that Zeitoun had save most of they're house stuff, and now she wants him to leave. But Zeitoun has made his mind of staying behind and look after the house. He wanted to be part of the Hurricane by exploring and try to help others with as much as he can.

From the book" Zeitoun", author Dave Eggers, is characterizing two main personalities, which changes from the day that Hurricane Katrina approached to their life. What Eggers is transmitting to us is the importance and the safety of the family rather than work. Eggers describes these unbalanced personality in Zeitoun and his wife Kathy. He describes Zeitoun, a father that would do whatever it takes to see his family happy and healthy. His wife Kathy a mother that is looking after her family also to see her kids growing up
What i have learned from this book so far is the care of a mother to think of
What have we learned about Zeitoun and Kathy from the book so far, and how do you think their personalities affected their decisions as Hurricane Katrina approached?

My name is Erjon
and this is my argument about Global Warming that McKibben has written to
pursue many facts of Climate Change.
In his book The
Global Warming, Bill McKibben
has stood his attention to a major catastrophic issue of Climate Change. Based
on his studies and science McKibben, is sending e message to us that the earth
temperature is rising little by little and the cause of it is us. We as human
being, living in this earth that was create for us to be lived on are creating
devastated changes to the main sources of life, air and water. The abuse of it
and the burn of fossil oil have made CO2 level rising up which has influence
the temperature of the ground. The big one is that McKibben’s call for a “carbon
disinvestment” movement aimed at breaking the hammerlock that the fossil cartel
has on our civilization is a big step forward. It’s not the only step we need
to take but it would make a huge difference. 2°C of warming maximum is the semi
official inter governmental global temperature target and it’s extremely,
dangerously high. McKibben makes the case here well and briefly, and correctly
notes that the ubiquity of support for the 2°C target is a sign of our
desperation. 2°C of warming would very likely be a catastrophe. And the way
things are going, we’re not going to come anywhere close to holding the 2°C
line.
Some people
believe the climate data that has been collected is not enough to show a trend
in rising global temperatures. Other scientists believe that are signs of
global warming, they are not interpreting data with an objective mind. And
still others say that global warming is just a natural climate shift and that
plants and animals can adapt to such a shift. And it's not just the science
that's being debated. Lawmakers are also in disagreement over whether the costs
to implement global warming policy outweigh the risks that global warming
potentially poses. Many believe legislation could eliminate jobs and even if
the United
States
changes energy policies, it does not guarantee that other countries that pose
environmental threats would do the same. Many people assume that Climate
Change is just a theory that science has spot it out as commercial purposes,
but in reality Climate Change is growing among the earth which has put on alert
McKibben and many other sciences to brake open many characteristics that would
prove the truth of global warming. Scientists estimate that humans can pour
roughly 565 more gig tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by mid-century
and still have some reasonable hope of staying below two degrees. His argument
against Climate Change has include many politicians that are not taking this
issue as a consideration of human being, but just as a business that involves
countries that have rich nature sources as fossil oil and natural gases that
would raise the profit and the economy up high. From this perspective many
politicians are ignoring the fact of Climate Change, because it would cause
government money and it would drop the sales of fossil oil with other countries
to half.
Many
organizations like IPCC in 1995 have concluded that humans were worming the
planet and the reasons why are many devastated examples like: 1- Burn of fossil
fuel to produce electricity.2- High production of cars running on burning
fuel.3- Cut of many trees for business purposes.4- Heavy industries and
factories releasing toxic smoke in the air. One the one hand some American
geologist hold the opinion that from the calculation of relation between the
quantity of carbonic acid in the air and the quantities that are transformed,
has raised the ground temperature to that level to raise the sea level by
melting the icebergs. According to this view James
Hansen also committed a story in New York
Times about Climate Change. Right after that he wrote a book called The End of
the Nature. Hansen’s been screaming for years that the sky is
falling.(http://newsbusters.org/people/james-hansen). He includes the results
of year’s high summer temperatures in the States, as well as for the European
heat wave of 2003, the Russian heat wave of 2010, and other extreme weather
around the globe in recent years.
Apparently
we see few people that are aware of this major change to the earth but does
everyone knows? We as humans are we prepared to survive to any catastrophic
event? We were born in one world. A world we could count on to support us, but
now we live on a new world without any assurance. A grate saying for us, to
understand that is never late to put out effort to create and build e clean
environment which would decrease the CO2 level and have our world balanced again
